Who We Are
The Stayton Public Library Foundation was organized in 1992 with a mission to build an addition to the Stayton Public Library.
In 1995 the Foundation was recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS. In 2007, after a successful capital campaign that allowed the Foundation to build a 7,500 square foot addition onto the library, the mission of the Foundation was revised to include the creation of a long term, stable source of funds to enhance library services.
The Stayton Public Library serves roughly 24,000 patrons in Stayton, Sublimity, and surrounding rural areas in Marion and Linn counties.
