What We Do

The Stayon Public Library Foundation exists to support our incredible community resource, the Stayton Public Library. Donations to the foundation have enabled us to build and enhance Oregon's finest small community library.

Since 2005, gifts of generous individuals and Oregon foundations to the Stayton Public Library Foundation have made the following library building improvements and programs possible:

• $2.5 million library addition.
• $250,000 in new furnishings, bookshelves and library equipment.
• Computer centers for youth and adults.
• The Outreach Storyteller Program that serves hundreds of pre-school age children in local child care facilities.
• Creation of a library endowment fund to meet future needs of the library and our community.
