Mission
The Stayton Public Library Foundation's mission is to
raise funds to improve the Stayton Public Library facilities, provide an endowment to support library operations,
and support special library programs and service.
FY 2007 /2008 Fundraising Goals
In October 2007, the Stayton Public Library Foundation Board of Directors adopted a new mission and set of goals.

$120,000 of unrestricted funds with a priority to pay construction costs as quickly as possible to avoid interest costs.
$140,000 to complete the unfinished items that were outside the scope of the original project budget.
$1,000,000 endowment (long-term) from which earnings will be used to offset increased operations costs incurred by the City of Stayton required as a result of the expanded facility.
