Leave a Legacy

There are a number of ways for you to make a meaningful gift to the Foundation and ensure a bright future for the Stayton Public Library:

• Provide bequests to the Stayton Public Library Foundation in your will: either a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the estate value

• Cash donations

• Stock, mutual funds and bonds: either a direct gift or a bequest in your will.

• Qualified retirement plan assets: name the foundation as a beneficiary.

• Life insurance: name the foundation as a beneficiary.

• Real estate: donate land or buildings.

• Charitable Remainder Trust or Charitable Gift Annuity.

We encourage you to consult your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor for help in determining the type of gift that is right for you. 

Donors who make a planned gift to the Stayton Public Library Foundation will be honored as a member of the Foundation’s Library Benefactor Society. Unless anonymity is stipulated, donors will be recognized in appropriate listings on the Library Benefactor Society Honor Board, website, annual report, and at special library foundation events.

If you have designated the Stayton Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary in your estate plan, please let us know by writing or calling the Stayton Public Library Foundation office. Joining the Library Benefactor Society will ensure the Stayton Public Library will endure and thrive in the years to come.
