Stayton Public Library Foundation

Endowment Fund

The Stayton Public Library Foundation has established an endowment fund with the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF).  With OCF's stewardship and long term investment program, our endowment fund will be maintained in perpetuity.  Once large enough, the endowment fund will provide a stable stream of income to support the Stayton Public Library.

An endowment fund is permanent.  The principal in the fund will never be spent.  It is invested; earning income that will be used to enhance library services for years and years to come.

The endowment fund is an investment in the future of the Stayton Public Library.  It is a gift.  A promise without end, made by you to your children, grandchildren, and community.

With our partnership with OCF we are able to offer our donors the opportunity to make a permanent gift to ensure future funding for our work.  Through OCF, the Stayon Public Library Foundation is able to accept gifts such as securities, personal property, and real property.  We are also able to offer the option of making a planned gift that will ultimately benefit our endowment fund.

The Oregon Community Foundation is a statewide nonprofit that administers permanent charitable funds established through gifts from individuals, families, businesses, and other organizations.  OCF currently administers over 1500 permanent funds with assets over $1 billion.
